Crash, rush, roll away
The milk sea rumbles the pebbles,
Summer lingering into October’s morning,
White light, clearing mist,
Crustations crawling out to see,
Summer spilling out of the water,
Bubbling gaps oozing inbetween.
White to blue, to light to moon,
Stone beached high up in the sky,
Starlings swoon around the neon pier,
The day runs out of time.
